Lovers and Strangers Revisted wins Popular-The Star Reader's Choice Awards 2009 for fiction!

Accepting Award from YM Professor Diraja Ungku Abdul Aziz bin Ungku Abdul Hamid, former Vice-Chancellor of Universiti of Malaya

The proud and slightly dazed  Robert Raymer standing between nominated writers Yvonne Lee (Vanity Drive and The Sky is Crazy) and Adeline Loh (Peeing in the Bush).

On stage with Kee Thuan Chye and the representatives of other winning authors, many of whom were outstation. Luckily I decided to fly in from Kuching for the day.

  3. Shu Yee,
Thanks and thanks for pointing that out! My mind is still on that stage!

    Lydia,
Thanks. The fact that you won last year inspired me! I was also looking for a good excuse to fly to KL on MAS for "The Merdeka Miracle" so I was happy that the award ceremony was in August and not September!

  9. KeeMan,
It was probably the deciding vote! You were the first person to order the book online even before it came out! Thanks. I really appreciate that!
